Meet Our Board Members
It is very important to us at Firefall International to have a board that is full of people who are passionate and invested in the work that we do. We rely on our board members to help us make decisions, while lending prayer and support.
rex & clarice kling
For many years, Rex and Clarice Kling lived in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and worked alongside the Penningtons in ministry. Rex and Clarice became involved with Firefall Ministries due to their shared passion for missions and international outreaches.
Rex and Clarice have two adult children and two grandsons. They currently live in San Diego, California, near their son and his family. They are grateful for the opportunity to be involved with a ministry that provides relationship building, leadership training, and needed resources.
rick & lucy allen
Rick and Lucy have three adult children and live in Allen, TX. Lucy works at Lucas Christian Academy as the Director of Family Life. Along with her active role in LCA, Lucy enjoys reading, health and nutrition and pursuing an intimate walk with Christ. Rick works at Raytheon as a technical manager and systems engineer. He also enjoys video editing, computers, golf, as well as building and fixing things.
Rick and Lucy help lead a home fellowship group and enjoy being a part of Firefall International. Having been active in missions and believing in God’s anointing and calling on Nancy and Jim Pennington, they consider it an honor to be a part of this growing ministry. Rick first met Jim when he was a camper and Jim was a counselor at Brookhill Ranch Camp. Jim's spiritual leadership significantly influenced Rick in his Christian development as a young man. Jim continued to be an inspiration when Rick later went on to serve many summers as a counselor himself.
When Nancy and Jim approached them to serve on the board with Firefall, Rick and Lucy were grateful to join their ministry team: "Through our friendship over the years, we knew the Penningtons had a sincere heart for God and that they were truly seeking His will with passion and integrity. The mission of Firefall International reflects these qualities and we are honored to serve on the board."
jason & grace flack
Jason and Grace Flack are passionate about being a part of the work Firefall does to empower and equip people across the world, and they lend their creativity to enhance Firefall’s web presence and marketing.
Grace is a freelance writer, as well as the Web Media Manager for Firefall. Jason is a Senior UX Artist at SYBO, combining his skills in illustration, design and UI to create fun scenes for mobile game players. They have a 2-year-old son, James, and a golden retriever, Pimento.
They recently relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark and are enjoying exploring the Scandinavian way of life, parks, food and traveling to other European countries.
Kathi Dolstein
Kathi Dolstein is currently serving as Mission Chair at Woodlands Presbyterian Church in Hot Springs Village. She is an Elder in the Church and has been an advocate for Firefall International for many years. Because of this advocacy, she has grown to appreciate the work being done in the name of Jesus in Myanmar and Vietnam. She has nurtured a relationship with Pastor David and Minh Thai and feels privileged to work with Jim and Nancy Pennington.
Kathi has 6 years of experience serving as mission chair at her previous church in California. She also served on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, Inland Valley for 3 years.
Before retiring to Hot Springs Village in 2010, Kathi and her husband, David, lived in Iran and multiple states. Kathi feels that travel opens doors to understanding, humility and a sense of wonder and gratitude. It is something she loves to do. Kathi and David have 3 children and 7 grandchildren and spend as much time with them as possible.
